Roy Orbison's 'The Soul Of Rock And Roll' Features 12 Previously Unreleased Tracks

'The Soul Of Rock And Roll,' the first truly comprehensive Roy Orbison collection, includes 12 previously unreleased recordings as part of the 107 track, four-disc box set available online and in stores on Tuesday, September 30 (Monument/Orbison Records/Legacy Recordings).

A live performance of "It's Over" from Roy's final concert on December 4, 1987 – recorded two days before his untimely death - is just one of many new and highly anticipated tracks included in this collection. Another notable track, from the earliest chapter of Roy's career, is a nearly 10-minute solo acoustic performance from 1956 of "Guitar Pull Medley: I Want You, I Need You, I Love You/I Was The One/That's All Right/Mary Lou/You're My Baby."

Other never-before-released tracks include a cover of Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti" from 1956, early demo recordings, and a live performance of Chris Kenner's "Land of 1000 Dances" from 1972.
