Joan Osborne will return to the city that inspired much of her new album, 'Little Wild One' (September 9, Womanly Hips/Plum Records/Saguaro Road/Music Allies), for a performance at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg on September 25. Osborne credits her hometown of New York and its residents, both past and present, for shaping the music on 'Little Wild One,' which WFUV's Claudia Marshall has called "a new high water mark." That's an impressive accolade, considering Osborne has sold over seven million albums and garnered six Grammy nominations.
WFUV will mark the release of 'Little Wild One' by broadcasting Osborne's
previously recorded "members only" concert on September 9 at 9:00pm. The performance can be heard on the air at 90.7 FM or online at
http://www.wfuv.org.
Osborne will be backed by Andrew Carillo (guitar), Aaron Comess (drums),
Keith Cotton (keyboards and vocals), and Rich Hammond (bass and vocals).
