From New York to LA and everywhere in between, Americans have banded together this July in search of the answer to a single question: "Why is it so hot in here?" Our nation's finest climatologists and A/C repairmen have their theory ("Because it's summertime"), but we here at Shore Fire aren't so sure. Could it not be all the hot concerts and fiery new music our artists are putting out this month? Why, just the latest record from Maxwell could likely push up the mercury in America's thermometers a few degrees. Other releases this month from Son Volt, Ricky Skaggs, Awesome New Republic, Kevin Hearn, P.J. Pacifico, and Smithsonian Folkways can't help, either. And this is to say nothing of the shows! Everywhere from tiny clubs to giant stadiums, Shore Fire artists will be bringing people together in close quarters this month, something unlikely to cool a single person down. Full details on Shore Fire's July releases and tours is after the jump. Study the data and reach your own conclusions.
